The Union Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) has approved an EMC 2.0 electronics manufacturing cluster at village Pateva, Rajnandgaon district. Total project cost is ₹432.08 crore, with ₹210.56 crore in central assistance. It’s expected to unlock over ₹3,000 crore in investment and create around 9,000 direct and indirect jobs — pitched as a step toward positioning Chhattisgarh as an emerging electronics manufacturing hub under CM Vishnu Deo Sai.
